Were not doing video timing or graphics processors etc. It has no ADC though. Search for “Programming specification” for your devices both C and F and you will find the answers there! Quote for reprap the best use of an FPGA would be to offload any processor intensive algorithms that would overload the main microcontroller, ie a co-processor. Can also be used for farms of less complex peripherals. Lots of functionality can be put in the FPGA, if required. FPGA’s are bigger so you can get more into them. One device select in, selects the MUX and sets the address that the second device select will refer to. There are ample pins available to have spare for an SD card etc, and RS if required.
