David Sedaris With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. I am glad that he switched to the autobiographical stories and left the straight up fiction behind. The rest is kind of a pile of guano though. I’d say that if you do read it, just skip the first hundred-fifty pages and go straight to fevee little grey box towards the end that denotes where the short stories stop and the essays begin.
